Lucky

I have certainly been on a streak lately. I was going to post about The Ill-Fated Trip next, but I can't wait on this one. It is the icing on the cake! The Ill-Fated Trip will have to wait until next time. Both stories are needed to appreciate the incredible luck I have had recently.

I came home from work to find this:

Yep. I'm wanted by the law. For something cool or daring or heroic (yet illegal)? Of course not! For something lame.

So I decided to wallow in some much needed self pity. If you would like to follow the same recipe as moi, please gather the following items:

1. a tea pot. make tea. drink tea.

2. make cake. decorate cake. eat cake.

it is a yummy cake. full of strawberries and toasted almonds and cinnamon sugar and cream cheese icing. it isn't exciting or anything. but it is yummy.

3. put on huge, nappy, comfy, cozy, really-more-like-a-dress-than-a-sweatshirt sweatshirt.

4. grab much beloved copy of Withnail & I. watch said movie. giggle and whimper alternately.

5. turn A/C temp down to
a ridiculously self indulgent cool temp.

Now enjoy. This is your life. And look forward to the rest of your busy work-filled week. Which now includes oodles of money owed to the city and the paranoia that all the cops in the world are going to be after just you. It doesn't have to make sense. It's paranoia.

It's not really that bad. It isn't good. It's a hassle and an inconvenience and just one more thing I didn't need. At least it gave me an excuse to pull out some of my favorite things (that song should get stuck in your head................now) and indulge.

  2. oh my gosh, my friend has a warrant out for her arrest. I'm strangely very proud :)

On a more sympathetic note I hope you get everything taken care of and let the paranoia die down. But I'm still so proud.

(PS. Is it for something to do with stealing library books?)
